Why do not buy electric mobility scooters in Alibaba?

Alibaba used to be a B2B platform to link the business purchaser ( including traders, importers, wholesalers who buy for business instead of personal use) and suppliers mainly from China.  But the things changed since 2020 due to the Covid effect that most countries are closed and only China is open with strict control. People only can look for products through Internet and Alibaba is the biggest one.  Alibaba wants to fight with Amzon who is a retail online shop, it starts 2C business. 

The bad thing is the suppliers are not ready for 2C business, but have to do it too because Alibaba makes them no choice.  Then, problem follows. 

Why do not suggest you buy electric mobility scooters from Alibaba, below are a few things you must concern.

1. High Shipping cost. Ship from China is expensive, and with battery scooter it is much higher. 

2. Long time shipping.  To Europe it takes more than 2 months now. 

3. Easy broken. As it is shipped from China, there are so many process during the shipping, it may easy broken during shipping. 
   

4. Aftersale service.  As most suppliers are doing B2B, prefer to sell by container quantity. If you buy for yourself use, it is hard to offer aftersale service to you if there is any problem with your mobility scooter.  EVEN some ship from EU warehouse, it is not easy to do service.

5. Hard to find good suppliers.  there are so many suppliers, and hard to choose the right one.  Even you see the shop is many years and well decorated, it maybe begaining of disaster for you.

If you buy just for PERSONAL USE, we suggest you to buy in local stores where you can check/test before you buy, and very convenient to get after sale service, which worth a high price.
